Since we had the chance to ride with Blaise Rosenthal, THE mastermind and creative director behind ARTEC snowboards we have been keeping our radars in alert for anything happening around ARTEC.
Formerly part of the Elan snowboards range, ARTEC is now flying with its own wings as an independent brand with a strong image of aesthectic and technology carried by individuals such as Gabe Taylor, Nima Jalali, Laura Hadar and Jake Devine.

All these riders will receive a pro model (pictured in order of appearance below, and available in a large choice of sizes and even normal or wide for the G.Taylor) in the 2008/09 line, and next to those pro model will be the Figment, with asymmetrical Omega sidecut, and a blunt twin tip shape, simply “the most advanced freestyle snowboard design in the world” as Blaise likes to put it!
