The Hochkar Open 2012 are on your doorstep! And one thing is already clear: This ain’t gonna be something for boardgame-slowpokes, as we are talking about 100% adrenalin in the battle for the sickest airtime! The show goes down on January 28th 2012 in the Senoner’park Hochkar, when the elite of the snowboard scene fights for a total prize money of € 1.000,-. The Big Air contest as part of the QParks Tour will be even more thrilling this year, running in direct head-to-head battles. So buckle up for some top-class freestyle action!

This year the highlight event of the eastern Austrian freestyle scene, will be held in a new contest format which guarantees pure excitement among riders and spectators. The contestants will duel each other pair wise on the Big Air kicker with 2 jumps, where the better rider will get into the next round. Dramatic battles and thrilling showdowns are guaranteed and promise an unforgettable event! Also the riders themselves are already looking forward to the spectacle, as Hochkar local Arnold von Gimborn tells: „I’m really looking forward to the super-relaxed atmosphere, the tasty BBQ and just to hang out with my friends and to have fun in the park!“

A special incentive for the riders is of course the outlook on a profitable treat: cool goodies by the park sponsor Sport Senoner as well as a total prize money of € 1.000,- cash are waiting! Moreover all participants can collect valuable points in the QParks Snowboard Tour ranking and hence qualify for the big finals, taking place in the end of the tour. And as already known from other QParks Tour stops, there will be also Best Trick competition, where additional € 100,- can be taken home with.
