Hell, what a weekend!

It took us 2 days to get back on a normal sleep and booze level!

But oh, before we get you all the details of our weekend… Welcome back on our blog! We haven’t posted anything last month, but that doesn’t mean we just sat on our lazy asses! (at least not most of the time!)
Bjorn has been working in a sports store in Antwerp, Federico got a new job at Vans, Christophe was road trippin’ in France and Italy and the rest of the crew was in search for some waves in Berria and Zarautz. Perhaps we’ll try to post some things from their trip, but it’s hard to find decent footage as the waves were shit!

Ok, back to our latest trip then! Last friday we gathered in Antwerp and took of to Roosendaal (Holland) to enjoy some indoor Skydiving. Hell yeah! Definitely one of the sickest things we’ve done lately!
The whole idea was to have a sick activity for Christophe, who’s getting married in september. Indoor skydiving is hard! The minute you try to make some moves you hit the windows or get unstable. But, a soon as we noticed that lama’s can fly, we got the hang of it. Make sure you try this one some day!

After the new windy experience we headed to the Belgian coast, Blankenberge, for the O’Neill surf, skate, snow and wakefest. All of these sports, free to the public and with demo’s by pro-riders, 2 days at the pier. Things started of great! We were invited to a special VIP party honoring Jack O’Neill and O’Neill’s 60th birthday. Great setting, booze, fingerfood, friends, … The night ended with a kebab and a (little) water fight in the hotel.

Saturday promised to be even better! During the day we visited the different sports, had some nice talks with riders, parents, friends and brands.

After the worst dinner in our live, cold soup – disgusting pepper sause …, we went to the annual beach party.

Boohjah, things got really crazy there! O’Neill had arranged a dancer for Christophe so he was forced on the stage to receive a lap dance in front of plus 1500 people, sick! Although the real bachelor is in a couple of weeks, the crew had to do something special and they succeeded perfectly!
We scored a free kebab this time and again we made a lot of noise and a mess (sorry!) in the hotel. Again, a beautiful day! Sunday we enjoyed the festival once more. Especially the sick skate contest, powered by Vans, was dope!

In the end we had a great weekend! Thx O’Neill for inviting us, see you next year!
