Two options: or you’ve been living under a rock the last few days or you should follow our Facebook a bit more!

The VW World Cup Big Air is about to happen next weekend in our home town: Antwerp.

As promised yesterday we are giving you the heads up on this awesome event!

The idea of organising a WC lived for a couple of years but money always seemed to be the issue. This year things turned out different… Next year Antwerp will be the capital of sport in Europe so they support the budget a lot! Thanks for that dudes!

Besides the city, Volkswagen pushed the stack of money a bit!
And let’s not forget our buddies at Red Bull who finished things of with a nice penny or two ;-)

What’s about to happen?

We’re about to break the world record: “highest free fall next to a river”… No you dip-sh*t: some hard core snowboarding of course!

Let’s talk numbers:

- the highest ramp ever built in FIS history, 39 meters
- 123,5 meters long
- 20,5m wide
- 45° run in
- 1.600 m² covered with snow
- 775 m³ of snow
- 150.000 kg of material…
- and much much more!

This event is already starting on Friday! So don’t be shy to drop by whole weekend…

No f*ck that: just be there! Christophe has been named chief of competition and Anthony is speaker on the Belgian – Holland battle. Oh yeah!

Things start off on Friday with the training for the WC and afterwards the battle.

On Saturday the real competition is on! Check it out as from 10am. The rest of the program and all of the info is on the official VW Big Air website.
Also make sure to follow us on our Facebook for the latest updates and photo’s.

ps: Seppe and Christophe went to check out the kicker yesterday! Thanks Kaat De M for taking these lovely pictures. You’ll be forever our little Peggy (sorry dudes, inside joke!)
