With its Betterpark Hintertux, open from Spring through to Fall, for a long time the Hintertux Glacier has been offering a sick park for all riding levels. ALL NEW in the winter season 12/13 is the Familypark at the Sommerberg lift, an ideal playground for ambitious rookies.

Like with all parks at Hintertux Wille Kaufmann from Betterparks assures the quality of the obstacles. His focus at all kickers, boxes, and rails has been an optimized design. It helps improve the experience for first-time freestylers. Take-offs and landings match the jibs perfectly. Kids can enjoy and quickly progress their freestyle riding – no matter if on snowboards or freeski!

Riders can choose from three lines: Park rookies can practice on the FUN LINE including a small boardercross with whoops and banks as well as tubes for slides. The ROOKIE LINE offers some easy airtime on a line of two kickers with 3-meter tables each, followed by two jibs. Freestylers can work gain confidence in the air and on the jibs in a fun way. Once you have mastered the ROOKIE LINE you can move on to the KICKER LINE: two 6-meter kickers and four different jib obstacles in one line. This line is challenging for rookies, but even experienced freestylers can progress their rinding on it. Its easy and safe setup is the ideal environment for learning new tricks.

Depending on snow conditions the Familypark in Hintertux will be open from Christmas 2012.
