Last week, park designer Sven Toller and his guys gathered a crew of motivated riders in the Vans Penken Park to put the new setup to the shredability test. The result was one of the finest sessions the mighty playground in the Zillertal has seen this year.

Last Wednesday, a bunch of motivated riders set out to pay the infamous Vans Penken Park a visit. Park designer Sven Toller and his eleven-men-team were awaiting the guys impatiently to put the eagerly anticipated park check and quality test into action. Certainly, once you’re working that long on one project, you kind of want to see what it can handle. The shred-enthusiastic riders – among them familiar faces like Werner Stock, Peter König and Jamie Nicholls – didn’t need to be told twice and immediately set out to rock the park wild style. But Sven and his crew didn’t earn the title “Europe’s best park” for nothing and showed the testers what a high-class setup looks like. Even hour-long runs, turns and spins could do the park no harm and, no wonder, the shape crew received unanimous choruses of praise.
